Citrix Receiver (.ica) does not launch

Issue: The Citrix Receiver file (lunch.ica) does nothing after clicking on it

Solution:
1. Go to default programs with the path: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs
2.      Click on “Associate a file type or protocol with a program” as depicted below:

3.  Locate .ica file in the loaded extensions, select it, and click on ‘Change program’ option as depicted below:

4.  Click ‘Look up for the program in pc’ and when the browse popup is open provide the path for wfcrun32.exe

Note: Usually if the Citrix was installed in C drive then the path of the program will be like below:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\wfcrun32.exe

5.   With the association of the above exe for .ica files, the citrix receiver should open the file properly now.
